Rectangular shaped version of our stunning new curly wool sheepskin rugs. Up to 15 individual shorn pelts are carefully matched then trimmed and joined to create a beautiful, chic floor rug that would make a great focal point in almost any setting.
Specially selected breeds such as Lincoln, English Leicester, Border Leicester and crosses are used. Their pelts tend to be particularly large as they are sourced from mature sheep that have been farmed on lush, easy farming type land, primarily for their wool.
The naturally curly wool is shorn to a uniform height, leaving small curls that exhibit a natural lustre and the larger scales on the wool are ideal for reflecting dyed colors.
Similar to the Bowron Zealamb rugs but our curly wool sheepskin rugs have a deeper wool pile with more distinctive curls.
These stylish new curly wool sheepskin rugs have been setup specifically for us by Classic Sheepskins in New Zealand, our main source of sheepskins. The rugs are all grown, tanned and manufactured here in New Zealand.
