Natural pelt shaped short wool shearling rugs whose wool has been clipped to a uniform height of approximately 22mm (7/8 in.) offering a completely different and contemporary look to the traditional long wool sheepskin.
New Zealand lambskins with a fine wool type and high number of fibers per square inch are selected so that the fibers when clipped must have 'stand' so that an even, shorn look is achieved.
Shearling is the term given to any skin that has had wool clipped down to a specific length. These shorn sheepskin rugs are grown, tanned and manufactured here in New Zealand. Main product image shows the Single pelt size in Black.
These are short wool sheepskins, for long wool sheepskin rugs see the individual sheepskin rug product entries, one for each natural pelt shaped rug size.
As this rug is a special order item, we can't cancel an order once we have ordered it from the tannery/manufacturer and exchanges/refunds aren't possible (unless defective).

"I am absolutely thrilled with my new sheepskin boots! Kiwi Sheepskins has proven to be an excellent company to deal with online, I would highly recommend them to anyone. The boots are so comfortable and warm as can be. We're in the middle of winter here in Canada, and my barefeet stay so cozy in our below zero temps (people think I'm crazy with no socks)."
