We were proud to supply over 70 pairs of extra tall black sheepskin boots to the Jarls Squad for the Lerwick Up-Helly-Aa 2007. This Viking Festival was held in the Shetland Isles, Scotland in January 2007 and the boots the squad had modified looked great.

Having been recommended by the Lerwick Up-Helly-Aa 2007 organizers, we were delighted to be chosen to supply sheepskin boots for Shetland's 2010 South Mainland Up Helly Aa fire festival.

Though not recommended for infant care use, here's a delightful story about an alternative use of our sheepskin pet mats:
"Just over a year ago I ordered a pet sheepskin from your company for my daughter, as she had really taken to a large medical sheepskin I had received while on bedrest when pregnant with her. I thought the smaller size of the pet sheepskin would be nice for her since she liked to carry around the large one.
Little did my husband or I know that she would take to that sheepskin like she has. She calls it her "Ba" and it has to go everywhere we go - a definite security blanket. We get all kinds of comments, from pet rug to toilet cover, but she absolutely loves it.

"I've been looking for the perfect rug for in front of the fireplace ever since Kito chewed up the last one. I searched the web and found a reputable vendor in New Zealand - Kiwi Sheepskins. It arrived yesterday (about 8 days after I ordered it).
As soon as I put it on the hearth, Kito bolted into the room and attacked it: chewing it, shaking it, and tossing it in the air. I'm sure he thought he was protecting me. After a couple corrections, he now understands that this is pretty high-styled living. Two days have passed, and the rug is still intact. Though every now and again I catch Kito nipping the rug just a bit, as if to tell it, 'Don't make me kill you again!'
