Lambskin Baby Products History
More than a million babies around the world in the last 20 or so years can thank a New Zealand mother for her wonderful idea.
She had seen long term hospital patients benefit from lying on sheepskin bed pads, and felt that sheepskin might help relieve the pain of her child who was in hospital. It worked, the sheepskin gave her child great comfort.
The mother then thought that other babies might benefit from the security and comfort of a natural wool sleeper. Bowron researchers, in co-operation with the Wool Research Organisation, began a 4 year development program to find perfect lambskins for baby.
After an extensive testing program the Baby Care lambskins went on sale and were an instant success. Today sheepskin baby products are sought after all over the world.

"I am absolutely thrilled with my new sheepskin boots! Kiwi Sheepskins has proven to be an excellent company to deal with online, I would highly recommend them to anyone. The boots are so comfortable and warm as can be. We're in the middle of winter here in Canada, and my barefeet stay so cozy in our below zero temps (people think I'm crazy with no socks)."
